The covered deck is the heart of the place — round timber tables, room for a crew of drillers or a family off the road, and cold air out of the fridge.

The bar
Australia's smallest bar
The bar top is 54 centimetres wide and 142 long. The drinking room is smaller again. It is licensed, it is cold, and it has been the reason people stop here for more than fifty years.
